| Above, the transformation of gates from a local Anglican church in Norwich (St. Elizabeth’s) into a sculpture that now hangs in their main meeting area. Started in 2001 and completed 6 months later, It was a challenge that was certainly outside comfort zone, but it's good to be challenged! It took around 200 hours to complete in between working as a support worker at Catton Grove Primary school. It was then left outside to 'age' before installation took place. Thanks to the Artists Acess 2 Arts scheme, I was able to use the metal workshop at the Norwich art school to create the work. |
